FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When should I book my consultation?
The goal is to get you ready for the postpartum period before you deliver. We find that booking when you are between 28 weeks to 36 weeks pregnant is the sweet spot.
Does our consultation substitute any of my prenatal or postnatal appointments with my medical team?
No. Please attend all scheduled appointments made by your medical team.
Will you be providing me with medical advice during our consultation?
The members of When Expecting do not provide medical advice, but rather health-related information. We encourage clients to consult with your established healthcare professional for personalized medical advice.
Who would benefit from the When Expecting experience?
All families would benefit from the consultation. Especially first-time parents, parents who need a refresher, families who have an age gap between children, families who had a previously self- described difficult postpartum period, families with little support in-town, single parents. We want everyone to feel prepared!
I want to book, but the times you have available don’t work with my schedule.
Email us at info@whenexpecting.com with the subject line: Schedule Conflict and we can try to accomodate a time that works for you!
Can my partner join me in our zoom consultation?
Yes! The zoom consultation is a 1:1 booking, but we do allow up to one additional person to join with our clients. It’s often beneficial for the person who will be assisting you postpartum to hear the information too.
Do you take insurance?
Currently at this time we do not take insurance.
We would love to book a group class with you, how do we go about that?
Please email info@whenexpecting.com with the subject line: Group Class Inquiry. We’ll chat about the details and try to get it scheduled.
